Within the next 10 years, the US can establish a federal direct cash program to support moms from pregnancy through their baby’s infancy with unconditional cash.

We’re making sure of it.

When that time comes, we’ll be ready. We’re building relationships with officials, identifying attainable funding sources, and preparing research so that when our nation is ready to implement such a program, we are prepared to get it across the finish line. We’re playing the long game, because our moms and babies are worth it.

  • Creating New Systems

We know that unconditional cash is an effective intervention, but now it’s time to sustain and scale that impact. We are working to identify and access federal dollars that can be used to fund direct cash programs for pregnant and parenting people for the long term.

  • Forwarding Research

At the crux of our work is evidence: we value data and are establishing a research network with the intention of aligning, refining, and conducting research in order to better demonstrate the impact of direct cash on pregnant and parenting people from every walk of life.

  • Building the Base

Direct cash is a relatively new concept, which is why we are working to educate and organize those in the public sphere toward the value of direct cash as a tool to improve infant and maternal health.
